We Love it Here

As the mercury has been dipping here over the last week it reminds me of how we spent last year's cold spell- outdoors at the St. Paul Winter Carnival, which of course is beginning this week. Here is the picture that I was tempted to send as our Christmas card but I was afraid it would scare visitors from coming to visit us. We rarely need to dress this warmly here.


Spencer and Nate got on the news that night -and were asked why they were out on such a cold day and Spencer was the model for how to dress if you did brave the weather. For much of the time we were there only his eyes were visible.

What is funny about his picture is that it reminds me of the ad campaign that the Mpls Star Tribune has done for years here is one of the drawings.

Good thing we do enjoy it here!
And we welcome visitors whatever the weather!
