So I finally got Jenna's eyes checked today. At her early childhood screening they said she didn't quite pass the test and I should take her to get a full eye exam. So we did that today- forgot the camara though. As it turns out she needs to get glasses (if I read the prescription right she needs a -1.00 correction in both eyes) so that is one more thing that we get to take care of as we are getting ready for school.
So now I am in the market for glasses for Jenna and will start making the rounds to compare prices and deals. Wish me luck to find the glasses and that Jenna won't lose or break them right away.

They have so many cute frame styles now and I think the kids ones are pretty sturdy. She'll look so cute and see so much better!
Hey the 2 for $99 have worked well for us. It is even a better deal than getting the insurance on the glasses. There are tons of styles if you shop around a little. Some places only have a few pair for kids and others lots. We can't wait to see her in her new glasses, just like cousin Michael!!
I did the 2 for $99, last time, too, so I'd have plenty of backups for the insurance pair. The insurance pair happens to be a wide kids' frame, and it's got the hinges you can bend backwards. Some of them (brand name is flexon?, not sure of price) you can literaly tie in knots and it won't mess them up. The plastic frames are the only ones I've ever broken, and that's with small children tugging and chewing on them.
Soooo, who offers the 2 for $99? It sounds like a good deal!
Eyemasters--and I just checked the website to make sure they've got the deal going at the moment. Not all the frames are included, but it's still a good deal, and they do have "memory metal" frames there, too.
Thanks for all the advice- we ordered her glasses and they should be here in 7-10 days I will post photos of her modeling them once they arrive.
