Finally, a garden

Well, it has finally happened. I have a garden plot in the back yard!

It took some work.



There are a lot of rocks in the dirt - here is the largest one. Spencer can hardly lift it.


I now have a small fence around to keep the rabbits out.

What have we planted?
Spinach, lettuce, arugula, beans, peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, some spices and some flowers. Luckily the deer have left everything alone for now.

We have also planted some pumpkin plants in a different area- we will see if they make it.

I will add some other photos later as the plants start to grow.
